Client Stories

Lisa runs a small crafts business. She's currently bringing in $200 per month in income, but with additional materials, registering at a few crafts fairs, and travel, she feels she can increase to $800 per month. She worked with the Rise team to understand her financing needs and receives approval for a $2400 loan at a 3.5% interest rate to be paid back over two years.

Jai is a photographer with a few clients, but his clients are looking to produce high-resolution ads which are beyond the capabilities of his current equipment. He cannot get credit from traditional sources and the cost of rentals is prohibitively expensive to clients. He works with the Rise team and receives a 3.5% interest rate lease for $4000 for equipment to be paid back over three years. Insurance is bundled into his payments.

A group runs a small service business. They occasionally need to buy supplies and equipment for their work but they don't always have enough on hand to cover these costs. The group shares this with the Rise team, who offer an operating line of credit (a short-term small loan) they can use to buy these things. If they pay back the line of credit quickly, they can access the same funds again.
