If you have business experience, empathize with individuals who have faced mental health and addiction challenges and want to support aspiring entrepreneurs, then Rise wants you!

Mentors Offer

One on one business mentoring in person, by phone and email

Mentors Commit

  • 1 business mentoring session per month (1- 1.5 hour)
  • Monthly phone or e-mail support as needed (1 -2 hours per month)
  • 1 year commitment

Mentors Gain

  • The ability to impact lives (1 in 5 entrepreneurs will still be in business after 5 years with the support of a mentor)
  • A chance to make a difference by helping to reduce stigma
  • The opportunity to give back
  • Access to restricted Mentor Hub content

Youth Coaches Offer

One on one business coaching in person for the Youth Small Business Program (3 month training program)

Youth Coaches Commit

  • 3 evening in-class coaching sessions (2 hours per session)
  • Phone or e-mail support as needed (1 -3 hours over the duration of the classes)
  • 3 month commitment with the opportunity to participate in the Fall and/or Winter cohorts

Youth Coaches Gain

  • The ability to impact lives by helping youth to realize their entrepreneurial ambitions
  • A chance to make a difference by helping to reduce stigma
  • The opportunity to give back
  • Practical application of Rotman Business Design curriculum

  • 1 in person or via conference call committee meeting monthly (2 hours per month)
  • 2-4 hours reviewing business plans monthly
